Itinerary & Rate Schedules
|
| Two-Hour
Tours
Two hours is enough time for a harbor tour of Marina del Rey
or a short, two-legged sail in Santa Monica Bay. If you bring your own
dinners, two hours is enough time for a sunset dinner cruise. We can either
anchor behind the breakwater and watch the sunset or dine while sailing
along the coast of Santa Monica Bay.

| Three-Hour
Tours
Three hours is enough time for a short sail in Santa Monica Bay
or a fine meal prepared at anchor by Captain Larry himself. On the dinner
cruises, we anchor behind the breakwater. You can sip cocktails and watch
the sunset while Captain Larry does his thing in the galley. There is
no time for sailing on the dinner cruise. If you would like to have a
dinner prepared by Captain Larry and do some sailing, you'll need four
hours.

Half Day Rates
These four-hour daysails (or moonlight sails) take guests on a two-legged
trip out toward Palos Verdes and back. Optionally we can sail a triangular
course around Santa Monica Bay. We first sail upwind along the beaches of
Venice and Santa Monica toward Malibu. Then we tack over toward Palos Verdes
on a beam reach. Finally we jibe over on a broad reach back to Marina del
Rey. Lunches and/or dinners are available with advance notice.

These six-hour daysails (or moonlight sails) take guests on the same triangular
course around Santa Monica Bay as the four-hour tour - we just sail longer
legs. Optionally, six hours is enough time to sail beyond Palos Verdes and
watch the California Gray whales migrate between Palos Verdes and Catalina
Island during whale-watching season (January thru the end of March). Lunches
and/or dinners are available with advance notice. |

Full
Day Rate
Eight hours allows enough time for several options. We can sail
a 50-mile lap around Santa Monica Bay. Or we can motorsail upwind to Paradise
Cove in Malibu where we can anchor, swim, and have lunch for a couple
of hours before sailing downwind back to the marina. Or we can sail almost
to Catalina and watch for whales. Or we can just fish all day. The choice
is yours. Lunches and/or dinners are available with advance notice.

We can sail around the entire island and spend one night at Avalon and another
night at the Isthmus. There is time to go ashore at both places and sightsee.
Or we can voyage to Santa Barbara Island or Anacapa Island with an over-night

Four-Day Island Adventures
These adventures are mini vacations. It is plenty of time to see and do
almost everything at Catalina. We can take the bus tour of the entire island
and go hiking and camping. Or we can explore one or more of the other Channel
Islands such as Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa islands and take a guided tour
with a park ranger. We can SCUBA dive, go fishing, swim/snorkel with seals,
sail the dinghy, and watch for whales. All meals are included.
