What
to Bring |
You are welcome to bring your own food and coolers full of your favorite beverages. Ice is available at the dock. A large ice chest w/ice and the galley fridgerator/freezer are available. Don’t forget the camera/camcorder and film. You'll want to dress in layers. A sweatshirt and/or light jacket and long pants feel good in the mornings. A T-shirt and shorts are more comfortable in the afternoons. You’ll want a swimsuit, towel, suntan lotion, sunglasses, and a hat when it’s hot. Personal CD players are optional. If you desire to go deep-sea fishing, you should bring your own fishing gear. We can get fishing licenses before we leave or you can get them in advance. We can get live bait on the way out or we can troll underway using lures. We're not fishermen so don't ask us anything about it. (We'll eat it though!) If fishing is your thing, Captain Larry just goes where the other guys are. |

On overnight trips, we ask that you bring only one duffel bag or soft-sided suitcase per person, as space is limited. The two guests in the forward cabin do not need sleeping bags. We can provide sleeping bags and pillows for other guests, but you are welcome to bring your own. If you want to skin/scuba dive, you may bring your own gear or rent it at Avalon or the Isthmus. Three sets of skin diving gear are available onboard Carmina Mare. Don't forget your hiking boots if you'd like to hike the fabulous trails on the islands. Last but not least, bring a smile, a good attitude, and be ready to have the TIME OF YOUR LIVES! |
